  Welcome to Algebra 2, per. 2&3

We meet from 9:00 to 10:28 on M/T/R/F and from 9:10 to 10:04 on W

GOALS: In this course, you will engage with a collaborative curriculum for Algebra 2. Using Problem-Based Learning strategies, you will engage in activities to develop a deep understanding of the following concepts:

Unit 1: Sequences & Functions

Unit 2: Polynomials & Rational Functions

Unit 3: Complex Numbers & Rational Expressions

Unit 4: Exponential Functions & Equations

Unit 5: Transformations of Functions

Unit 6: Trigonometric Functions

Unit 7: Statistical Inferences

Standards-Based Grading: You will have many opportunities to demonstrate your progress towards mastery of Algebra 2 Standards through quizzes, Mid-Unit, and End-of-Unit Assessments. Your evidence will be rated using the Algebra 2 rubric as found in Task Dashboard. Active participation in class, and practice outside of class (homework) are required for you to achieve at your highest potential. You will be able to revise and resubmit evidence for higher ratings IF & ONLY IF you have completed all the learning and practice assignments leading up to the demonstration.
