Talent Show Guide
My name is Leah Gonzalez and I am a senior here at Building 21 High School. For my senior capstone I had decided to attempt to create building 21’s first annual talent show. This talent show is intended to help build a stronger school community for our current students, as well as our incoming students.
My idea of building a stronger school community is to promote school spirit as I have felt, in my years here as a student, that this was severely lacking. In speaking with my peers I found that we all had this feeling in common; “school spirit is important yet we don’t have any”. I have grown to understand that school spirit is an important thing in any school as it is core to getting the student body to build close, strong, and lasting relationships.
As time went on and deadlines got closer i realized i wouldn’t have enough time to get this show where i wanted; instead I decided I’d make a guide for the incoming seniors to carry out what I planned for Building 21 next year. I hope with this guide this talent show can come to life in the future and this school can become a better place for the staff and students
