Jiovani Senior Capstone Abstract
For my Senior Capstone Project I decided to calculate the financials of a business known by the name of “Greens Therapy”. This business is currently in the making and is planned to be ready for business in 2023. I will be working side by side with Ms.Reyes to make sure her dream about this non-profitable business comes true. I chose this because I love mathematics and i find the finance behind business to be very interesting. I know that tons of people in the world have great/wonderful ideas and or business plans, but they don’t know the most important part of those plans and that’s the financial aspect. I had to start off by asking Ms.Reyes some questions; How many rooms will the building need to have? What kind of computers would you like your employees to have? She provided me with the necessary information i needed to start my estimation of the total cost to start this business. For my product i put some charts together on a poster board and gave information on the costs of creating this business. In my presentation i will talk about the importance of finance when it comes to business. I will demonstrate the estimated costs of each tool, equipment, technology and construction work we will need to start this business. As a result of this entire project i realized what i have done can become an actual job or even just a hobby for me in the future.
