What respect means to me

To me respect means you have a deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.

Formal/Informal Boundary

Posted by Eduardo Rojas in Advisory: 10 on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 7:42 pm

One time I crossed a social boundary was when I wore informal clothes to a job interview. I believe it made me look unprofessional and made the place I was applying to not want to consider hiring me. One way I could’ve changed that was wearing nicer and formal clothes. I believe that would’ve made me seem more formal and more caring about the job, so they would’ve had a greater interest in hiring me.

Formal and informal boundarys

Posted by Angel Soto in Advisory: 10 on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 1:44 pm

I have short story to tell about being formal and informal speaking. So one day I was in my business class with mrs Salter and our assament was to be interviewed by another student. sense I didn’t know that other student and the same for them so we ask some basic questions. I think we ask more formal questions we both would have gotten a better grades.

Formal boundaries

Posted by Logan Barr in Advisory: 10 on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 1:36 pm

One time I crossed a formal boundary was during work with a person in a higher position than me. We were discussing some products that we needed and everyone else uses an informal name one of the products. I used the informal name, which also happens to not be the most school-friendly name, which caught him by surprise. Luckily he just laughed at it so I had no issues. I could have just done better by not slipping up and using the improper name for the product.

Formal/Informal Boundary

One time i crossed a social boundary, was when i had a informal altercation with an student during lunch of 9th grade year. I think i could’ve handle the situation better by having more communication with my peer. Also i could’ve just walked away, and/or get an adult to handle the situation.

3Y's of advisory

Posted by Angel Soto in Advisory: 10 on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 3:52 pm

Advisory matter to me for two reasons. In school it’s basically a free period in school where i can nap and talk abit. the second reasons and i think for my fellow students have the same reasons for liking advisory for the most part. I think advisory impact our future by two things. the first thing is by improving our speaking skills. the second things is it improves our presetation skills.

why does advisory matters to me ?

advisory matters to me because that’s where i get work done where i start my day its like my coffee in the morning because that’s my starter of the day

why do i think its important to others ?

and i think it matter to teachers and peers because that’s where the teacher checks in with you to see your grades thats where they can see if you need help or not they can help you check you in with your other teachers and help you with what you need help with in other classes

why could advisory impact my future ?

i feel advisory would impact my future in a good way because its like the first thing you do of the day is see what you need to do and seeing where your at with everything at the moment and how much more you need to improve yourself i feel its a neat way to start your day

Advisory matters to me because I like communicating with others.

I think advisory matters to peers and teachers because is a way to communicate with them and also to socialize.

Advisory might impact me in the future because I learned to socialize well in there.

advisory matters to me because it gives me a better chance to ask questions that I may have throughout the day that other teachers may not be able to answer. it gives me time to do work I wasn’t able to finish earlier in the day.

advisory may matter to my teachers and peers because it allows the teacher to give us students some information that we may need.

advisory could impact my future because it will help me send professional emails.
